Count Down to Competition April 2011

Bit of background:

I am into my 4th year training and have decided that this is the year that I will compete.  This involves increasing the frequency and intensity of my cardio sessions, stepping up and focusing the strength sessions and being strict regarding my food intake.

In order to help me stay motivated I have been recording what I am doing (including pictures) using a physical journal, bodyspace account, forums and a motivational wall chart.  I am going to start uploading my log (s) to this blog in the hope that it may inspire some other people to take up the fitness challenge.

I started on January 1st 2011.  This was not because it was the start of a new year, but simply because it gave me exactly 17 weeks to get in shape.

The competition I have chosen to work towards is organised by NABBA NI and is being held on 30th April 2011 in the Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The first few weeks I planned the eating and training myself.  By the third week I was lucky enough to get advice and help from two ladies who had competed before.
